My friend Tori is having a baby, and she didn't want tradtitional baby colors. These are for her son, due in December.
I made this scarf for my masseuse Rebecca. It's made out of Debbie Bliss 80% alpaca/20% silk, and it feels YUMMY. I used the Misti Alpaca pattern for their ribs and ruffles scarf. It's free on their web site.
The green and blue one is from Hip Knit Hats ("Kringle") and the blue and pink ruffled one is of my own design. For Bradley's neice and nephew.
I found this on Knitty.com. It's a recipe called "Monica." It's for a very special little girl. And it was super easy to knit up!
Here's a small afghan for my grandson, Jasper. I knitted it from a pattern in the book "Quick Knit Baby Afghans," by Evelyn A. Clark. The pattern is called "Cuddle Up." I used two colors of yarn held together: Sky Blue (508) and Pale Green (587) in Caron One Pound.
I knitted this for my new nephew, James Michael, who was born on June 12. It took me a while to finish it and get it sent out, but at least he was still a baby when he got it! I used the pattern "Cuddle Up" from the booklet "Quick Knit Baby Afghans," by Evelyn Clark, with 2 strands of yarn (light blue and chocolate brown) held together.
You can see the colors of the yarn and some of the detail a bit better here.
