I found a nursery that reminds me of my favorite nursery in California, Burkard's. It's called Lukas Nursery and I love it. Got this gorgeous camelia, the two pots and the geranium. I can't wait for the camelia to bloom. It's "Carter's Sunburst." Should be glorious.
Saw this hanging basket in Laguna Beach last month, and had to snap a picture. I love the arrangement, and it just goes to show you that gardeners are so creative sometimes!
Another mini garden. Now all I need is a miniature Jessie or Woody from Toy Story 3 to ride along in the wagon. I love kitsch, and it doesn't get more kitschy than this ceramic tchotchke I bought at a Knoxville thrift store years ago. It's finally found its purpose!
This is my second attempt at a mini garden, and I love it. Yep, that's Boo from Monster's Inc. peeking out of the foliage. This one is for my friend Pam at work, who loves Boo. More minis to come.
I am passionate about gardening, thanks to my inherited-from-my-grandfather green thumb. Here are a multitude of shots so you get an idea of what's a-growin'!
I love to take pictures. Here are portfolio shots from back in the day. I used to take lots of portraits, mostly of friends. They were great exercises in creativity. Almost all of these are from back in the early '90s! They are all scans of printed photographs. ACTUAL photographs. Not digital prints! Old skool, baby! (I will add more photos as I take them.)
I have many wonderful friends and have done many wonderful things in Los
Angeles since I've moved here. I am filling up my time now making as many memories as I can before Bradley and I move to Knoxville. I'm going to document these last few weeks with as many photos as I can take. Click on any of these images to get started...
